I don’t have a favorite place in this city. My favorite place is the whole city when I move through it. My shadow glides over the brick buildings like sun beams on grassy green lawns and I feel full of warmth and my heart beats out winks and blinks at the brilliance of it all. Is it too much for me to say that maybe our shadows give those places life?
