The near-impossibility of actually interacting with a human being rather than an automated customer service message is frightening and frustrating. (Why oh why is it so hard to talk to a HUMAN BEING? Why can’t I solve my problems by talking with someone who gets paid to help me? I know the answers, but I would like to pose the rhetorical question nonetheless).
